Our house Jan van Gent, with its two beautiful, comfortable, and lovingly designed holiday apartments, is located in a very quiet side street in a preferred residential area on the edge of Neuharlingersiel. Jan van Gent is the fishermen's name for the seabird cormorant; our cutter and our house are named after this nickname. All tourist attractions are just a few minutes' walk from the "Jan van Gent" house. The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is directly on the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park," which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. Your short walk to the harbor, beach facilities, and the spa and information center with the seawater indoor pool and many entertainment options leads past the peaceful "Neuharlingersieler Tief." "Peaceful" is your walk in the best sense of the word, because it is a very beautiful path that takes you without traffic through the spa park and along the picturesque "Sielhof." Now you cross the front garden of the "Sielhof" and are already at the harbor or, with a small detour to the northwest, at the beach.
