Our house Jan van Gent, with the two beautiful, comfortable and lovingly designed holiday apartments, is located in a very quiet side street in a preferred residential area on the outskirts of Neuharlingersiel. Jan van Gent is the name given by fishermen to the seabird Great Cormorant, after this nickname our cutter and our house are named. All tourist attractions are just a few minutes' walk from the "Jan van Gent" house. The North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel is located directly on the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", since 2009 a "UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site". Your short walk to the harbor, to the beach facilities and to the spa and information center with the seawater indoor pool and many entertainment options leads past the charming "Neuharlingersieler Tief". "Charming" is your walk in the best sense of the word, because it is a very beautiful walk that takes you without traffic through the spa park and along the picturesque "Sielhof". Now you cross the front garden of the "Sielhof" and are already at the harbor or, with a small detour to the northwest, at the beach.
