Located in an idyllic and secluded position on the edge of a forest, our farm with a 10,000 square meter property welcomes you. On our "Ekenhoff," Detlef Janßen and Elke de Buhr, along with their daughter Rieke Janßen and grandson Hauke, welcome you.
Our holiday farm and horse boarding (near the North Sea coast) with arable farming, about 30 hectares of land, has been managed by us for 30 years. Our holiday farm is only a 15-minute drive (9 km as the crow flies) from the coast.

On our farm, horses and ponies reside, including 35 boarding horses, our farm dog "Leo," our cat "Lakritz," our goats Wilhelmine and Glöckchen, our mini sheep Hörnchen and Gerd, and our 9 Scottish Highland cattle. Our pig "Sissi," rabbits, chickens, ducks, and geese.

We rent out 7 very individually designed holiday apartments for 2 to 5 people. Our guests can relax on the terraces, chat cozily at the campfire spot, or gather sociably in the barbecue hut. A riding arena, riding hall, 3 RV parking spaces, and of course, a large playground are also available.

Not far away, about 1 km, lies our nature reserve "Ochsenweide," a nature reserve with adjoining cattle pastures.

We offer peace and relaxation in the health-promoting North Sea climate, away from the tourist hustle and bustle.

Check-in from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Check-out by 11:00 AM.
Of course, you can also arrive/depart at other times. Please arrange this with us in writing or by phone.

Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival, after which 80% of the total price will be charged as cancellation costs.
A deposit of 100 Euros as confirmation will be due after booking.
The remaining payment will be made on-site the day before departure, by card or in cash. Payment by bank transfer is possible until the day of departure.

We strongly recommend taking out trip cancellation insurance!

Washing machine and dryer are available in a separate room for a fee of 4 Euros.
A dog lodge fee of 4 Euros per night is required to bring your dog, horse lodge 15 Euros per night.

Your holiday apartment will be available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and until 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

We have a day of rest on Sundays, but arrival and departure are possible.

Schöne Ferienwohnung, ganz nette Gastgeber, super Kinderfreundlich und engagiert. Viele Tiere, nicht nur Pferde und Ponys, tolle Umgebung. Auf Wunsch Brötchen- Service, Getränkekühlschrank und frische Eier, Marmelade oder Honig - also für alles gesorgt!
