Our cozy "Farm on the Dike" is located just before the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel, only 150 meters from the dike and directly at the "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park," a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. There is a lot to experience and discover on our farm, as it is fully operational! You and your children will learn how a farm functions and thrives in the green pasture landscape of the East Frisian marsh using the latest technology. Children are especially welcome!

The new coastal cycling path leads directly past the farm. This allows you to easily and refreshingly reach the tourist attractions in the North Sea spa towns of Bensersiel (in the immediate vicinity) and Neuharlingersiel (a bit further east). There is plenty of space for children to play and frolic in all weather, go-karting indoors in the barn and outside on the farm, and much more.
You will find real East Frisian black-pied cows and calves, cats, and the pony "Misty," on which children can also ride!
Our three holiday apartments are very comfortable and modernly furnished and technically top-equipped, e.g., with two bedrooms each, dishwashers, and microwave ovens.
The "Farm on the Dike" stands freely in the East Frisian marsh, and you enjoy the wonderful view of fields, pastures, meadows, and dike every day. From the "Island View" apartment, you can even see the sea and the East Frisian islands off the coast! From the apartment, you can see when it is high and low tide. The sunrise and the overall view will "pursue" you in your dreams throughout the year.
You can reach your evening dike walk in a few meters. And then just walk a bit or even for a few hours and enjoy the sunset. You won't even notice what's happening to you - it can only be this beautiful here on the coast!

You can reach all the attractions that Bensersiel has to offer from our "Farm on the Dike" in about 20 minutes on foot or about 5 minutes by bicycle: On your way to the beach, you pass the harbor. From here, you should start a day trip to Langeoog! Very close to this path to the beach facilities is, for example, the seawater bathing landscape "Sonneninsel" North Sea Therme, a modern heated fun and adventure pool with North Sea water. All cure facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna, and fitness center are located in the "Sonneninsel."
When you reach the beach facilities, there is the beach itself with an adventure playground and the children's house "Kunterbunt." In addition, the new beach portal with "Bennis Abenteuerland," a covered beach facility for children, stands on the beach. Furthermore, there is the seawater wave-free pool with the giant slide, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events, and many more ideas for your vacation.
The Kajedeich at "Benser Tief" invites you to beautiful cycling tours along the "Benser Tief" inland.
You will also find plenty of shops, e.g., in the dike passage, as well as restaurants and cafes on your way to the beach.
Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the good parlor of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. Even better, take a bicycle and ride "around the back" through the marshland via the "Hammerweg" or along the idyllic "Kajedeich" at the "Benser Tief." Wonderful tours await you.
The great Bensersiel offer is complemented by the over 475-year-old knight's town of Esens with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums as well as further gastronomic offers and shopping opportunities.
