The "Haus Ankerplatz" is located within walking distance of the town center of the beautiful old knight's town of Esens with excellent transport links by bus, car or bicycle to the nearby North Sea spa Bensersiel and to the nearby North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel. You stay on the northern edge of the town center of Esens.
The North Sea spa Bensersiel and the beach are only four kilometers away and are located directly at the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", since 2009 "UNESCO World Heritage Site".
An apartment in the "Haus Ankerplatz" is about 50 square meters and up to 5 people plus an additional baby can vacation there. The two other apartments are about 50 and about 40 square meters and are perfect for a nice North Sea vacation for two people or of course also for singles.
All three apartments are friendly, comfortably equipped and furnished and very cozy. On about 50 square meters each, you will find everything you need for a perfect holiday, e.g. loggias on both apartments on the top floor.
The apartment "Kapitänskajüte" is particularly beautiful - we also like to call it our "wedding suite" - maybe you should take a look here - for your greatest days of life we are happy to accommodate you. There are wonderful opportunities here to enter into the bond for life. Ask us, we will give you tips for the suitable location, e.g. the ancestral hall of the town hall of our town Esens or the small chapel at Sielhof in Neuharlingersiel.
It is only a short walk from your apartment to the pedestrian zone, the "Steinstraße", and to the market square of the bear town Esens. There you will find nice shops for a leisurely shopping stroll and for browsing and marveling. There is a diverse gastronomy with cafes and restaurants, indoors and outdoors.
We would be happy to tell you all the amenities of our over 475 years old, cozy and charming town with a historically grown town center and of course the "highlights" of the North Sea spa Bensersiel. For example, we also have a lot of small and large events and museums. Or you can simply have some peace and quiet in your beautiful apartment.
For example, cycle north through the idyllic East Frisian marsh and optionally along the "Benser Tief" to Bensersiel. This way you reach the beach comfortably and relaxed.
Of course, you can also reach there in a few minutes by car, but by bike you reach the sea and Bensersiel after about 4 kilometers in completely relaxed peace, have already sniffed a lot of healthy salt air and can particularly enjoy the beach and the many tourist spa and holiday facilities.
