Our holiday apartments in "Hus Otzum" are child-friendly, very friendly and comfortably furnished as well as equipped with the latest technology. Families and couples will find everything they need for a beautiful and relaxing holiday and, in addition, many extras and amenities. Both holiday apartments are non-smoking and allergy-friendly.

You will stay very quietly, our house is located just about 200 meters from the dike in a quiet residential street without rear-end development and without through traffic.

Behind the house in the garden there is a private children's playground. In the adjoining house, which also belongs to our family ("Gästehaus Sturmeck"), there is a lounge that is available to you, dear guests. In this lounge, drinks for the guests are also available.

The beach facilities are less than 10 minutes' walk away. All other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer can also be reached on foot in a few minutes.

The seawater swimming pool "Sonneninsel" is very close by, a modern heated fun and leisure pool with North Sea water. All spa facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located there. In the "Sonneninsel" you can really pamper yourself.

Adjacent to the North Sea spa "Sonneninsel" is the spa park, through which you can reach the beach facilities past the harbor. There is the beach itself with an adventure playground and the children's house "Kunterbunt".

In addition, the new beach portal with "Bennis Abenteuerland", a covered beach facility for children and with further leisure and information offers, stands at the beach. Furthermore, there is the seawater wave pool with the giant slide, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events as well as many more ideas for your holiday.

Also, shops, e.g. in the dike passage, as well as restaurants and cafes can be found in abundance on your short way from us to the beach. Of course, you can also reach your evening dike walk much more directly, without having to cross the small town of Bensersiel beforehand. And then you simply stroll for a bit or even a few hours and enjoy the sunset. You won't even notice what's happening to you, it can only be this beautiful here on the coast!

A lot is also offered for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the "Vital-Aktiv-Center"; or take a beauty day and really pamper yourself.

Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the good living room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. Even better, take a bicycle and ride "around the back" through the marshland over the "Hammerweg" or over the idyllic "Kajedeich" along the "Benser Tief". Beautiful tours await you.

The great Bensersiel offer is optimally complemented in the over 475-year-old knight's town Esens with its historically grown town center. There are a lot of small and large events, museums as well as further gastronomic offers and shopping possibilities.

In general, our area is excellently suited for extended walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your holiday by the North Sea actively and relaxed and profit optimally from the North Sea's stimulating climate.

Esens and Bensersiel have a lot to offer for recreation, sports and play, for example the already mentioned offers, also tennis courts, surf sections on the dike, a kite meadow for flying kites there, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities, mudflat hiking tours and much more.
