Bensersiel is located directly at the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

The holiday apartments at the "Pirateninsel House" in Bensersiel are friendly and comfortably furnished and designed and very well equipped. All apartments have a terrace or a balcony at the living room and are approximately 60 square meters and very well suited for 1 to 4 persons for the most beautiful days and weeks of the year!

From the "Pirateninsel House" you can reach all attractions that Bensersiel has to offer in a few minutes on foot: the beach at the best - simply over the dike and you're there - the harbor or the bathing area "North Sea Spa Bensersiel", a modern heated fun and leisure pool for the whole family. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located there. The harbor and the tourist beach facilities are also very close.

There you will find the beach itself with an adventure playground and children's playhouse "Kunterbunt" and the new beach portal with "Benni's Adventure Land" - a beach facility for children under a roof and with internet access for surfing on colder winter days. Also, you will find around the beach the seawater outdoor pool, the maritime sports theme park and many more ideas for your vacation in Bensersiel.

From the "Pirateninsel House" you can start beautiful bicycle tours inland through the marsh via meadows and fields directly adjacent to our Friesian Street.

For your shopping, morning rolls or a nice meal or a delicious coffee or tea, you have a large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and cozy maritime pubs in immediate proximity. For example, there is a consumer market, a bakery as well as several cute shops and several catering establishments within walking distance in and at the covered shopping and restaurant row "Deichpassage" in the holiday center "North Sea Garden Park".

For your holiday or spa treatment, you are ideally provided for with us. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the "good room" of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. Even better take a bicycle and ride "around the back" through the marshland via the "Hammerweg" or along the idyllic "Kajedeich" by the "Benser Tief". Wonderful tours await you.

The great offer in Bensersiel is complemented in Esens by the over 475 years old knight's town with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and other catering and shopping opportunities. Your children best visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" and have lots of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.
