The beach facilities are just a short walk away. All other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer can also be reached with a short walk.

The Nordseetherme Bensersiel, a modern heated fun and leisure pool, can be reached in about five minutes on foot. There is a wonderful swimming pool under a roof with a giant slide for the whole family, a therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern sauna, wellness and fitness center.

Not far away is the spa park, through which you can walk by the harbor to the beach facilities.

On the beach you will find a great adventure playground, a water play area and the beach portal with the North Sea Adventureland, a play area for children under a roof. For example, within walking distance in the covered shopping and restaurant row Deichpassage in the holiday center Nordseegartenpark there is a consumer market, a bakery and several charming shops as well as several catering establishments. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the living room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in less than five minutes. Even better, take a bike and cycle through the marshland over the Hammerweg or over the idyllic Kajedeich along the Benser Tief. Wonderful tours await you.

The great offer of Bensersiel is complemented in Esens by the over 475 years old knight's town with a historically grown town center. Here there are lots of small and large events, museums and other catering and shopping opportunities. Children are best off visiting the indoor play park Klabautermann and having lots of fun there. The Klabautermann is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.

In general, our area is excellently suited for long walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your holiday at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the North Sea's bracing climate. There is also a lot on offer for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the fitness center Nordseetherme; or take a beauty day and treat yourself. Cheap shopping opportunities, many events and great gastronomic offers in the area will round off your program. With your children, you should also visit the petting zoo in Werdum. This special small zoo is particularly popular with young visitors. You can also feed or stroke and learn playfully about the multifaceted world of domestic and farm animals from all continents.
