From your holiday home you can easily reach all the attractions that Bensersiel has to offer on foot in just a few minutes: simply walk over the nearby dike and you will be at the beach facilities. Or walk a few meters further and you will reach the harbor as well as the spa park and the Nordseetherme Bensersiel bathing complex, a modern heated fun and leisure pool for the whole family. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) and a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located there.

But let's stay at the beach facilities for a moment: There is the beach itself with an adventure playground, a water play area and the beach portal with the North Sea Adventureland, a play area for children under a roof. You will also find the maritime sports theme park around the beach as well as many more ideas for your North Sea holiday in Bensersiel.

From the holiday home Schlatt, you can start beautiful cycling tours inland through the marshes over the meadows and fields in the immediate vicinity.

For your shopping, morning rolls or a nice meal or a delicious coffee or tea, you have a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and cozy maritime pubs available in the immediate vicinity in Bensersiel. For example, there is a supermarket, a bakery and several quaint shops as well as several catering establishments within walking distance in and at the covered shopping and restaurant row Deichpassage in the holiday center Nordseegartenpark.

For your holiday or treatment, you are ideally provided for with us. Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the good room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. Even better, take a bicycle and ride around the marshland via the Hammerweg or along the idyllic Kajedeich along the Benser Tief (What is a Tief? For more information please click here!) Wonderful tours await you.

The great offer in Bensersiel is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight's town with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and other catering and shopping opportunities. Your children should best visit the indoor playground Klabautermann and have lots of fun there. The Klabautermann is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.

In general, our area is excellently suited for long walks, cycling tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. So you experience your holiday at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the Reizklima of the North Sea.

There is also a lot offered for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the Nordseetherme fitness center; or have a beauty day and let yourself be pampered.

With your children, you should also visit the petting zoo in Werdum. This special little zoo is very popular with the little visitors. You can also feed or stroke and learn playfully the multifaceted world of domestic and farm animals from all continents.
