Our house Oll School (formerly Pension Janssen - a converted and renovated old school) with two holiday apartments is located in Altharlingersiel near Neuharlingersiel, close to the dike and almost exactly between the North Sea resort of Neuharlingersiel and the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel. Altharlingersiel is directly on the unique natural spectacle of the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2009.
Our guests stay in two bright and comfortable holiday apartments, which with approximately 40 and 45 square meters in size are very suitable for one to two persons or for two to four persons.
Our guesthouse is located near the dike and you can reach the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel in a few minutes by car. However, the North Sea resort of Neuharlingersiel is even closer. You can reach Neuharlingersiel by car in just under five minutes. Both resorts can also be reached comfortably by bike in 10 to 15 minutes.
The North Sea resort of Neuharlingersiel is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab cutter fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still actively lived by many crab cutters today.
While you enjoy your well-deserved holiday, the crab catchers sail out to the North Sea from the old and charming Neuharlingersiel fishing harbor. There the fishermen then harvest the seafood that you can enjoy later. You can find them in many beautiful, hospitable establishments in Neuharlingersiel, including directly at the historic fishing cutter harbor.
