Welcome to the "Reit- und Ferienhof Maack" at the gates of the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel on the "Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer"!
We, Sandra and Wiard Maack with our children Kilian and Aylien, live and work here on the "Reit- und Ferienhof Maack" in close proximity to the dike and the North Sea.
We run an active agricultural equestrian farm with many horses and ponies, a dog, several cats. In addition, we also cultivate crops to produce our own animal feed.
All holiday apartments are cozy and comfortable, ideally furnished and equipped for a holiday on an original East Frisian marsh farm.
We all in our family have been horse lovers since we were little and so we have 3 large outdoor riding areas (one for dressage riding 20 x 40 meters, one also for dressage riding 25 x 50 meters and a jumping area) and a small and fine indoor riding hall.
In addition to riding lessons, we also offer horseback riding tours and pony rides for the little ones. Our guided riding tours for everyone are also popular. During these, parents lead their children on horses in groups for about an hour, of course accompanied by at least one of our riding instructors.
Furthermore, every family can lead a pony during children's riding for twenty minutes daily at 17:00.
A qualified riding instructor is present on the farm. She professionally guides both beginners and advanced riders.
Our farm is only 300 meters in a straight line from the dike, so you can ideally combine a holiday on the equestrian farm with a North Sea holiday. There are many tourist attractions in the area and there is always something going on here all year round and it is always healthy anyway! Our winter is quite mild and particularly suitable for cycling and hiking tours at the Wadden Sea, the dike or in the moor. So let our good fresh air clear your mind.
In front of the farmhouse, there is a playground with a volleyball net and soccer field and climbing frame, slide and much more. There is always something going on here and we are already very much looking forward to your visit!
In close proximity, very nice to reach by bicycle, but also with a short walk, lies the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel, a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still actively practiced by many crab fishing boats.
For your holiday, there is a rich tourist offer: beach with a great water play facility "Platschi", the new modern SPA and wellness center "BadeWerk" with seawater indoor pool and sauna as well as Kurhaus, Kursaal, Info-Center with children's playhouse "Leuchttürmchen", Sielhof as "House of the Guest", green areas, events, lovingly maintained historic harbor and many other offers.

It's also only 3.5 kilometers to the North Sea spa town of "Bensersiel". There you will find a beach, the beach portal with the covered play beach "Bennis Abenteuerland" and many other offers, the Nordseetherme "Sonneninsel" bathing area as well as a seawater wave pool and plenty of other leisure, spa and recreational offers.
