The farm "Polmann" with two cozy holiday apartments and a beautiful holiday home is located in the small Warfendorf Nordwerdum in East Frisia on the North Sea between the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel and the health resort Werdum.
Our property is very close to Neuharlingersiel and thus also close to the "Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park", since 2009 "UNESCO World Natural Heritage".
Here you will find the quiet and healthy recreation you expect from your North Sea vacation. The farm "Polmann" offers fresh healthy North Sea air as well as the expanse of East Frisian meadows and fields - North Sea AND country vacation pure.
The two holiday apartments are approximately 35 and 50 square meters and thus ideally suited for 2 to 3 persons or for 2 to 4 persons. The holiday home is approximately 80 square meters and thus suitable for 2 to 5 persons. The holiday apartments and the holiday home are bright and friendly designed and very comfortable and modern-cozy equipped with everything you will need in your vacation.
The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel - very nearby, maybe five minutes by car - is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still actively lived by many crab fishing boats today.
For your vacation there is a rich tourist offer in Neuharlingersiel: beach with great water play facility "Platschi", the new modern SPA and wellness facility "BadeWerk" with seawater indoor pool and sauna as well as spa house, concert hall, info center with children's playhouse "Leuchttürmchen", Sielhof as "House of the Guest", green areas, events, lovingly maintained historic harbor, of course the "Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer" with its unique natural spectacle and many more offers.
Neuharlingersiel is directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island of Spiekeroog opposite on the mainland.
The state-recognized health resort Werdum, the neighboring village on the other side, is 4 km from the dike and the North Sea as a green oasis in the midst of East Frisian expanse. Werdum is a small and cozy village that invites its guests to all seasons above all with peace and recreation away from the tourist bustle of the seaports.
There is everything you need: a lot of events (more than 100 in summer alone), "House of the Guest", spa facilities, the Bimmelbahn "Rasender Kalle", guest bowling and bike tours with barbecue, plan wagon rides, horseback riding for the disabled, gastronomy, coastal brewery and much more.
Werdum is an old grown Warfhaufendorf, whose history goes back to around the year 1300, and there are historical and typical landscape architecture such as the Häuptlingsburg, the Erdholländerwindmühle from 1748, the St. Nicolai-Kirche or a smithy from old times.
Also in the immediate vicinity is the North Sea spa Bensersiel. Bensersiel also has a lot to offer for sports, recreation and play, for example two swimming pools: the seawater outdoor pool with super slide and the bathing landscape "Nordseetherme Bensersiel". The "Nordseetherme Bensersiel" is a modern heated fun and leisure pool. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located in the "Nordseetherme Bensersiel".
There are also many offers for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the "Fitness-Center Nordseetherme"; or have a beauty day and let yourself be pampered.
Bensersiel is directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island Langeoog opposite on the mainland.
Also nearby is Esens, the good room of the "Harlingerland". You can reach Esens by car, but even better again "from behind" by bike through the marshland. Here you can shop nicely on a nice stroll or go for a meal or take part in the wide range of different festivals and events. Your children are best off visiting the indoor play park "Klabautermann" and having a lot of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.
The great offer in Nordwerdum, Werdum, Neuharlingersiel and Langeoog is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight city with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and further gastronomy and lovely shopping possibilities.
In general, our area here at Neuharlingersiel and Werdum is excellent for long walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. So you experience your vacation at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the North Sea climate.
