Experience East Frisian cosiness in the two apartments in the "Huus an't Diek" (House on the Dike) in the immediate vicinity of the North Sea spa Bensersiel between Bensersiel and Dornumersiel. The North Sea spa Bensersiel and the North Sea spa Dornumersiel are located directly on the unique natural spectacle "Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

There is a lot of peace, relaxation and healthy recreation directly behind the dike! And the children are also very welcome! Here you will find healthy recreation and your well-deserved rest for the most beautiful days and weeks of the year!

Your two apartments are each approximately 60 square meters with two bedrooms, large living rooms with integrated kitchen and balconies as well as bathrooms with shower, washbasin and toilet. The apartments are tastefully furnished with a lot of love and very well equipped and offer excellent conditions for two to three people.

Our house is located in the East Frisian marsh almost directly on the sleeping dike at Störtebekerstraße and you enjoy the great view of the East Frisian fields, meadows and pastures as well as the dike and its inhabitants. The sunrise and the view in general will pursue you in your dreams all year round.

For your evening dike walk, you can cross the sleeping dike. Just walk a little or even a few hours and enjoy the sunset. You won't even notice how it happens - it can only be this beautiful here on the coast!

For your vacation or cure, you are ideally supplied at the North Sea spa Bensersiel.

From our house you can reach all the attractions that Bensersiel has to offer in 20 minutes on foot or in 10 minutes by bike: You pass the harbor on your way to the beach and very close to your path, for example, there is the seawater bathing landscape North Sea spa "Sonneninsel", a modern heated fun and adventure pool. All spa facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are located in the "Sonneninsel".

When you reach the beach facilities, there is the beach itself with an adventure playground and the children's house "Kunterbunt". In addition, the new beach portal with "Bennis Abenteuerland", a covered beach facility for children, stands on the beach. Furthermore, there is the seawater wave free pool with the giant slide, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events and many more ideas for your vacation.

The Kajedeich at the "Benser Tief" offers you beautiful bicycle tours along the "Benser Tief" inland. You can also start your bicycle hike from our house to the fields of the marsh in the direction of Esens, Dornum, Aurich or simply for an extended tour through the magnificent and diverse landscape.

Shops, e.g. in the dike passage in Bensersiel, as well as restaurants and cafes can be found plenty on your way to the beach.

Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the best room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. Even better take a bike and ride "from behind" through the marshland over the "Hammerweg" or over the idyllic "Kajedeich" along the "Benser Tief". Wonderful tours await you.

The great Bensersiel offer is complemented by the over 475-year-old knight city Esens with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and big events, museums as well as other gastronomic offers and shopping opportunities.

Children are best to visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" in Esens and are sure to have a lot of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a big hall full of ideas for playing and romping.

In general, our area is excellently suited for long walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. So you experience your vacation at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the attractive climate of the North Sea.

There is also a lot offered for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the "Vital-Aktiv-Center" in Bensersiel; or have a beauty day and let yourself be pampered.

Cheap shopping opportunities, many events and great gastronomic offers of the area will round off your program.

Esens and Bensersiel have a lot to offer for recreation, sports and play, for example beaches with playgrounds and beach chairs, the already mentioned swimming pools, but also tennis courts, surf sections on the dike, a kite meadow for kite flying there, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities, mudflat hiking tours and much more.

On the other side, towards the west along the coast, you will reach the North Sea spa Dornumersiel after a few kilometers.

Dornumersiel has been a North Sea spa since 1990, has a 70,000 square meter sandy beach and a trawler and sports boat harbor in the district "Westeraccumersiel". On guided tours you will experience the "Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer". Paddle on quiet East Frisian canals, bike or skate through the clear North Sea air.

In the "Reethaus am Meer" you will find many leisure offers for your children, a "Bambini" land, a play barn, a large reading room with internet connections, table tennis as well as craft and seminar rooms.
