The "Pension Pradler" can be found in Altharlingersiel, close to the dike and almost exactly between the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel and the North Sea resort Carolinensiel-Harlesiel. Altharlingersiel is directly at the unique natural spectacle "Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
In our idyllic village of Altharlingersiel with around 100 inhabitants, you can spend a wonderful and above all inexpensive and child-friendly holiday. Peace and relaxation are not "empty talk" with us! You can fish, boat or cycle, ride, jog, walk or hike. Above all, everyone can really relax here.
Our pension is located near the dike and you can reach the North Sea resort Carolinensiel-Harlesiel in a few minutes by car. However, the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is even closer. You can reach Neuharlingersiel by car in just under five minutes. Both resorts can also be reached conveniently by bicycle in 10 to 15 minutes.
The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab cutter fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still actively lived today by many crab cutters.
While you enjoy your well-deserved vacation, the crab catchers leave the old and beautiful Neuharlingersieler fishing harbor for the North Sea. There the fishermen harvest the seafood that you can enjoy later. They are available in many beautiful hospitable restaurants in Neuharlingersiel, including directly at the historic fishing cutter harbor.

Neuharlingersiel is located directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island of Spiekeroog opposite on the mainland.
In the North Sea resort Carolinensiel-Harlesiel about three kilometers east of Altharlingersiel, there is an extensive holiday offer for children and parents. First of all, there is the old harbor in Carolinensiel. This old harbor now houses a museum harbor with historic Frisian flat-bottomed sailing ships. When walking or from one of the beautiful restaurants, watch the colorful activity around the harbor!
You enjoy the view of the old ships, the harbor promenade with its cafes, tea rooms and restaurants, as well as the paddle steamer "Concordia II", a replica of the old "Concordia I" from 1854. This paddle steamer takes you on the deep in shuttle service from the museum harbor past the House of the Guest through the Friedrichsschleuse to the yacht harbor in Harlesiel to the North Sea.
Furthermore, there is the "House of the Guest" with a comprehensive entertainment and relaxation offer. For example, parents can read quietly while their children are looked after by experienced professionals. The whole family naturally likes to go to the beautiful beach, but you can also go swimming in the salt leisure pool "Cliner Quelle" (splash pool, sauna, solariums, beauty and wellness department and once a week the popular "Moonlight Swimming"). Or in summer you can visit the heated seawater outdoor pool in Harlesiel. For children and growing teenagers and actually for the whole family there is the "Happy Family Club" with programs and many ideas.
