The house with our vacation apartment is located in the state-recognized health resort Werdum, a green oasis of tranquility on the North Sea. Here you will find the quiet and healthy relaxation you expect from your North Sea holiday.

The health resort Werdum is very close to the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel and also close to the "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

The vacation apartment "Meerzeit" is located on the upper floor of a single-family house. It is comfortably and friendly designed and furnished and well equipped. There is also a partially covered and furnished terrace in the garden, where you, dear guests, can really relax.

From the vacation apartment "Meerzeit" to the center of our old Warfendorf Werdum it's not far - we are just a very small village. Also not far away are the "House of the Guest" and the Kneipp spa hall. Not far away is the pet park, which is particularly popular with children, with many exotic pets to observe and even to pet. And a few meters away you have already arrived in the center of our small village Werdum, the village square with the adjacent country brewery.

Since the health resort Werdum is not very large, the events here are pretty quiet and leisurely - just relaxing. However, there are also a lot of events and offers for your holiday. You are somehow right in the middle of country life.

The state-recognized health resort Werdum at the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is located 4 km by air from the dike and the North Sea as a green oasis in the middle of East Frisian vastness. Werdum is a small and cozy village that invites its guests to enjoy peace and relaxation away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts, especially in all seasons.

There is everything you need: a lot of events (more than 100 in summer alone), "House of the Guest", spa facilities, the Bimmelbahn "Rasender Kalle", guest bowling and bicycle tours with barbecues, horse-drawn carriage rides, riding for the disabled, coastal brewery and much more.

Werdum is an old grown Warfhaufendorf, whose history dates back to around the year 1300, and there are historical and landscape-typical architecture such as the Häuptlingsburg, the Erdholländerwindmühle from 1748, the St. Nicolai-Kirche or a forge from old times.

The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel - very nearby, maybe five minutes by car - is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still actively practiced by many crab fishing vessels.

Neuharlingersiel is located directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island of Spiekeroog opposite the mainland.

Also in the immediate vicinity is the North Sea spa Bensersiel. Bensersiel also has a lot to offer for sports, recreation and play, for example two swimming pools: the seawater outdoor pool with a super slide and the bathing landscape "Nordseetherme Bensersiel". The "Nordseetherme Bensersiel" is a modern heated fun and leisure pool. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) and a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located in the "Nordseetherme Bensersiel".

Also nearby is Esens, the good room of the "Harlingerland". You can reach Esens by car, but even better again "from behind" by bike through the marshland. Here you can shop well and enjoyably on a nice stroll or you can go out to eat or take part in the large offer of various festivals and events. Your children should best visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" and have a lot of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping. The great offer in Werdum, Neuharlingersiel and Bensersiel is complemented in Esens by the over 475 year old knight's town with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and further gastronomy and wonderful shopping possibilities.

Our area here at Werdum and Neuharlingersiel is excellently suited for long walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your holiday on the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the Reizklima of the North Sea.
