The farm "Eschen", a part-time farm managed on ecological principles and an authentic medium-sized family business, with four beautiful and cozy holiday apartments is located in Moorweg, southwest and in the immediate vicinity of the North Sea spa Esens-Bensersiel on the East Frisian North Sea coast.
Here on our beautiful farm you will find wonderful conditions for a beautiful holiday in East Frisia. Our child-friendly house is close to the forest, where you can experience undisturbed walks away from the tourist bustle. Early in the morning - maybe from the breakfast table - you can observe the wildlife on the meadows in front of the forest.
Here four friendly furnished and well-equipped, cozy holiday apartments await our guests and their children. The apartments are approximately 40 to 55 square meters in size and offer enough space for two to five people or two to four people plus an additional toddler.
In the beautiful sunny garden you can enjoy the incredible peace and the wonderfully East Frisian air.
If you have managed to tear yourself and the children away from our farm and the wonderful expanse of fields and meadows, then explore our beautiful area and also visit the beautiful North Sea spa and spa town of Esens-Bensersiel.
Moorweg is centrally located with an excellent transport connection to all excursion destinations in East Frisia. It is not far to the coast and thus to the tourist and spa facilities in the North Sea spas of Esens-Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel.
Moorweg includes the villages of Alt- and Neugaude, Wagnersfehn, Kloster and Schoo. Kloster and Schoo are places where a monastery already existed before 1300.
Some of these districts were created in the last century by draining the peat bog. Not all peat was drained, in the Schafhauser forest you can still find a beautiful piece of original peat bog landscape. A few kilometers away you will find the nature reserve "Ewiges Meer", which is particularly inviting for excursions into the wild and untouched peat bog nature.
The Schooer and Schafhauser forests make Moorweg one of the most densely wooded municipalities in northern East Frisia.
By bicycle, you have the healthiest connection to the North Sea in the coastal resorts or on the dike, quite literally cross-country.
