The seawater bathing area “Nordseetherme Bensersiel”, a modern heated fun and leisure pool with North Sea water, is located almost next door, as is the spa house and a fitness and wellness center. Here you can really indulge yourself.
And in the evening, you just walk a few meters to the dike and crown your day with a walk along the North Sea at sunset. You can easily reach all the other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer on foot in a few minutes:
Adjacent to the “Nordseetherme Bensersiel” is the spa park, through which you can reach the beach facilities past the harbor. There you will find the beach itself with an adventure playground and children's house “Kunterbunt”, the seawater wave-free pool, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events. The newly added beach portal offers a beach under a roof and additional leisure and information offers.

You will also find plenty of shops, e.g. in the dike passage, and restaurants and cafes within a short walk to the beach.
For your vacation or treatment, you are ideally provided for with us. Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the good parlor of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car, but even better "from behind" through the marshland via the "Hammerweg"; or by bike via the idyllic "Kajedeich" along the "Benser Tief". Wonderful tours await you.
The great Bensersiel offer is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight's town with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and other gastronomy and shopping opportunities.
In general, our area is excellently suited for extensive walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your vacation at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the North Sea's healing climate.
