The seawater bathing area "Nordseetherme Bensersiel," a modern heated fun and leisure pool with North Sea water, is almost next door, as well as the spa house and a fitness and wellness center. Here you can really indulge yourself.
And in the evening, you walk just a few meters to the dike and crown your day with a walk on the North Sea in the setting sun. You can reach all the other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer comfortably on foot in a few minutes:
Adjacent to the "Nordseetherme Bensersiel" is the spa park, through which you can reach the beach facilities past the harbor. There is the beach itself with an adventure playground and children's house "Kunterbunt," the seawater wave pool, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events. The newly added beach portal includes a beach under a roof and additional leisure and information offers.
We have a wheelbarrow available for our guests for your beach luggage and for the children.
You will also find shops, e.g. in the dike passage, and restaurants and cafes along your short way to the beach.
For your vacation or cure, you are ideally provided for with us. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the good room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car, but even better "from behind" through the marshland via the "Hammerweg"; or by bike via the idyllic "Kajedeich" along the "Benser Tief." Wonderful tours await you.
The great Bensersiel offer is complemented in Esens by the over 475 years old knight's town with a historically grown town center. There are a lot of small and large events, museums and further gastronomy and shopping opportunities.
In general, our area is excellently suited for extended walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your vacation on the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the North Sea's invigorating climate.
There is also a lot offered for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the Vital-Aktiv-Center; or take a beauty day and indulge yourself.
Cheap shopping opportunities, many events and great gastronomic offers of the area will round off your program.
