The seawater bathing area "Nordseetherme Bensersiel," a modern heated fun and leisure pool with North Sea water, is almost next door, as is the spa house and a fitness and wellness center. Here you can really let yourself be pampered.
And in the evening, you walk just a few meters to the dike and crown your day with a walk along the North Sea at sunset. You can comfortably walk to all the other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer in a few minutes:
Adjacent to the "Nordseetherme Bensersiel" is the spa park, through which you can reach the beach facilities via the harbor. There you will find the beach itself with an adventure playground and the children's house "Kunterbunt," the seawater wave pool, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events. The new beach portal with a beach under a roof and further leisure and information offers is also located here.
We provide a pushcart for your beach luggage and for the children for our guests.
You will also find plenty of shops, e.g. in the dike passage, and restaurants and cafes on your short way to the beach.
For your vacation or cure, you are ideally provided for with us. Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the parlor of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car, but even better "from behind" through the marshland via the "Hammerweg"; or via the idyllic "Kajedeich" along the "Benser Tief" by bicycle. Wonderful tours await you.
The great Bensersiel offer is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight's city with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and further gastronomy and shopping opportunities.
In general, our area is excellently suited for long walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your vacation at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the attractive climate of the North Sea.
