The seawater bathing area “Nordseetherme Bensersiel”, a modern heated fun and leisure pool with North Sea water, is almost next door, as is the spa house and a fitness and wellness center. Here you can really pamper yourself.
And in the evening, you walk just a few meters to the dike and crown your day with a walk on the North Sea at sunset. You can comfortably reach all other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer on foot in just a few minutes:
Adjacent to the “Nordseetherme Bensersiel” is the spa park, through which you get to the beach facilities past the harbor. There is the beach itself with an adventure playground and children's house “Kunterbunt”, the seawater wave pool, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and for many events. Also new is the beach portal with a beach under a roof and further leisure and information offers.

You will also find plenty of shops, e.g. in the dike passage, and restaurants and cafes on your short way to the beach.
For your vacation or cure, you are ideally provided for with us. Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the good room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car, but even better “from behind” through the marshland via the “Hammerweg”; or by bicycle along the idyllic “Kajedeich” along the “Benser Tief”. Wonderful tours await you.
The great Bensersiel offer is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight's town with a historically grown town center. There are a lot of small and large events, museums and further gastronomy and shopping opportunities.
In general, our area is ideal for extensive walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your vacation on the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the Reizklima of the North Sea.
