The holiday home "Nordsee Landhuus Heinken" is located in a very quiet area in the middle of a nature reserve. You have an absolutely unobstructed view of the East Frisian meadows and fields and relax away from any through traffic in the small village of Folstenhausen near the North Sea spa towns of Esens-Bensersiel and Neuharlingersiel on the East Frisian North Sea coast.
The North Sea spa town of Bensersiel and the beach are just six kilometers away and are located directly at the unique natural spectacle "National Park Lower Saxony Wadden Sea", since 2009 "UNESCO World Natural Heritage". You can easily get there by car in 10 minutes or by bicycle in a leisurely three-quarter hour.
The lovingly furnished and bright and cozy half of the holiday home in the former south part of the country house is approximately 90 square meters and is perfect for a relaxing North Sea holiday for two to four people plus an additional small child - it is therefore the ideal place for your family vacation and for couples of all ages.
The holiday home has a living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. In the shed you can safely park your bicycles.
In the large, sheltered garden with a large sun terrace, families have plenty of space for rest and relaxation or for playing on the 5,000 square meter property with fish pond and a small lake.
In autumn and winter, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace. The tasteful, East Frisian country decor and paintings by local artists make the special charm of the holiday home perfect.
The North Sea coast and thus the dike and the tourist facilities and the spa facilities in the two North Sea spa towns of Esens-Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel or in Dornumersiel are not far away. Above all, by bicycle you can explore the area wonderfully from here!

The North Sea spa town of Esens-Bensersiel in the immediate vicinity has much to offer for sports, recreation and play, for example in Bensersiel the North Sea Therme "Sonneninsel" with sauna area, wellness offers and many other recreational attractions, the wave outdoor pool, tennis courts and maritime sports theme park, surf sections on the dike, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities and of course the very child-friendly beach as well as much more. From Folstenhausen you can easily reach all the many destinations and attractions that East Frisia can offer. Take a look at the beautiful old chieftain's seats like Dornum, Greetsiel or Lütetsburg. You should also "get lost" in the friendly and cozy towns of East Frisia, it is not far to Aurich or Jever. A special and rich art treat is the Nannen Museum of the foundation of "Stern" founder Henri Nannen in Emden.
Do you have children with you? Don't forget the petting zoo in Werdum. This special little zoo is very popular with the little visitors.
