The beach facilities are just a stone's throw away. All other attractions that Bensersiel has to offer can also be reached in a short walk.

The Nordseetherme Bensersiel, a modern heated fun and leisure pool, can be reached in about a five-minute walk. There is a wonderful indoor swimming area with a giant slide for the whole family, a therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern sauna, wellness and fitness center.

Not far away is the spa park, through which you can walk by the harbor to the beach facilities.

For your shopping, morning rolls or a nice meal or a delicious coffee or tea, Bensersiel offers you a large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and cozy maritime pubs in the nearby center of Bensersiel. For example, there is a supermarket, a bakery and several quaint shops as well as several catering establishments in walking distance in and over the covered shopping and restaurant row Deichpassage in the holiday center Nordseegartenpark.

Esens, the pride of the Harlingerland, is located very close to Bensersiel. You can reach Esens by car in less than five minutes. Even better, take a bike and ride around the marshland over the Hammerweg or the idyllic Kajedeich along the Benser Tief. Wonderful tours await you.

The great offer of Bensersiel is complemented by the over 475-year-old knight's town with its historically grown town center in Esens. Here there are a lot of small and large events, museums and more gastronomy and shopping opportunities. Your children should visit the indoor play park Klabautermann and have a lot of fun there. The Klabautermann is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.

Our area is excellent for extended walks, bike tours, and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way, you experience your holiday by the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the North Sea's invigorating climate. There is also a lot offered for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the Nordseetherme fitness center; or have a beauty day and let yourself be pampered. Cheap shopping opportunities, many events, and great catering offers of the area will round off your program. With your children, you should also visit the petting zoo in Werdum. This special little zoo is particularly popular with the little visitors. You can also feed or pet and learn about the diverse world of domestic and farm animals from all continents in a playful way.

Esens and Bensersiel have a lot to offer for recreation, sports, and games, for example, beaches with playgrounds and deck chairs, the already mentioned swimming pools, but also tennis courts, surf sections on the dike, a kite meadow on the dike for flying kites, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities, Wadden Sea hiking tours and much more.
