The "Pension Pradler" can be found in Altharlingersiel, near the dike and almost exactly between the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel and the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel. Altharlingersiel is directly on the unique natural spectacle of the "Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
In our idyllic village of Altharlingersiel with around 100 inhabitants, you can have a wonderful, especially affordable, and child-friendly vacation time. Quiet and relaxation are not just empty talk here! You can fish, boat or cycle, ride, jog, walk or hike. Above all, everyone can really relax here.
Our pension is located near the dike and you can reach the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel in a few minutes by car. However, the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel is even closer. You can reach Neuharlingersiel by car in just under five minutes. Both resorts can also be reached comfortably by bike in 10 to 15 minutes.
The North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. The East Frisian fishing industry is still actively practiced today in the beautiful historic fishing harbor by many crab fishing boats.
While you enjoy your well-deserved vacation, the crab fishermen leave the old and charming Neuharlingersiel fishing harbor for the North Sea. There, the fishermen harvest the seafood that you can enjoy later. They are available in many beautiful welcoming restaurants in Neuharlingersiel, including directly at the historic fishing boat harbor.

Neuharlingersiel is located directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island of Spiekeroog opposite the mainland.
In the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel, about three kilometers east of Altharlingersiel, there is a comprehensive holiday offer for children and parents. First, there is the old harbor in Carolinensiel. This old harbor now houses a museum harbor with historic Frisian flat-bottomed sailing boats. Watch the colorful activity around the harbor while walking or from one of the beautiful restaurants!
You can enjoy the view of the old ships, the harbor promenade with its cafes, tearooms, and restaurants, as well as the paddle steamer "Concordia II", a replica of the old "Concordia I" from 1854. This paddle steamer takes you on the deep in a shuttle service from the museum harbor past the House of the Guest through the Friedrichsschleuse to the yacht harbor in Harlesiel to the North Sea.
In addition, there is the "House of the Guest" with a comprehensive entertainment and relaxation offer. For example, parents can read quietly while their children are cared for by experienced professionals. The whole family naturally prefers to go to the beautiful beach, but you can also go swimming in the brine leisure pool "Cliner Quelle" (splash pool, sauna, solariums, beauty and wellness department and once a week the popular "Moonlight Swimming").
