The "Haus Akazie" with two holiday apartments is located in the North Sea spa Esens-Bensersiel directly at the "National Park Lower Saxony Wadden Sea", since 2009 "UNESCO World Heritage Site". The house is located in a very quiet residential area in the south of the cozy old town of Esens. It is situated in a small side street without through traffic and is ideally connected to all directions, whether by car or by bicycle.

The two holiday apartments in the "Haus Akazie" are tastefully and lovingly designed, bright and friendly-modern furnished, yet very cozy and very well equipped technically. On approximately 70 or 65 square meters, 2 to 4 people can find everything they need for a completely beautiful holiday at a very reasonable price. For example, a washing machine is available in holiday apartment 1, the fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and you can sit comfortably in the beach chair in the sun or have breakfast on the terrace.

You can reach the city center in about five minutes by bicycle and in five minutes on foot there is Lidl, Aldi and another supermarket with bakery and butcher.

We would be happy to tell you all the amenities of our over 475-year-old, cozy and charming bear town with a historically grown town center and of course the "highlights" of the North Sea spa Bensersiel. For example, there are also a lot of small and big events and museums here. Or you can simply have your peace and quiet in your beautiful holiday apartment and on the beautiful balcony.

Leave Esens towards the south and hike in the Schafhauser forest and in the adjacent moor nature reserve. Or explore East Frisia further by bicycle. There are many rewarding bike tours and very beautiful destinations to discover.

Or for example, head north by bike along the very nicely located old Kleinbahn track and then cross the idyllic marsh and optionally also along the "Benser Tief" to Bensersiel. So you reach the beach comfortably and relaxed.

Of course, you can also get there by car in a few minutes, but by bike you reach the sea and Bensersiel about 5 kilometers away in completely relaxed peace, have already sniffed a lot of healthy salt air and can enjoy the beach and the many touristic spa and holiday facilities in a special way.

Our location is perfect for extended walks, bike tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your holiday at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the stimulating climate of the North Sea.

You can reach Bensersiel or the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel by car in 5 to 15 minutes. You can also easily reach both seaside resorts or North Sea spas by bus.

The North Sea spa Esens-Bensersiel has a lot to offer for recreation, sports and games, for example beaches with playgrounds and beach chairs, swimming pools, tennis courts, surf sections on the dike, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities and much more.

Let the sun shine on your belly or explore the beautiful surroundings and the vastness of East Frisia by bike. Visit in Bensersiel the bathing landscape "Nordseetherme Bensersiel", a modern heated fun and leisure pool. All spa facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located there. Or you go to the beach with the new beach portal with "Bennis Abenteuerland" - a beach facility for smaller children under a roof - as well as with the maritime sports theme park and with the seawater wave pool with giant water slide. Hike on the dike or in the "National Park Lower Saxony Wadden Sea".

Take day trips to the East Frisian islands and visit numerous old mills, museums, exhibitions and other cultural highlights. Or go with your children to Werdum to the petting zoo with many small animals from all parts of the world. Or go to Neuharlingersiel. There, in addition to other attractions of this North Sea spa, the historic fishing port with an active crab cutter fleet and "Platschi", the great water play facility right on the beach, await you.
