Here with us you will find your well-deserved rest. It takes approximately 5 minutes by car to reach the beach and all the spa facilities in the North Sea Spa Resort of Neuharlingersiel, and a bit more to the North Sea Spa Resort of Bensersiel.
Thunum is located in the middle of Bensersiel, Neuharlingersiel, and Esens and, in addition, very close to the state-recognized air spa resort of Werdum. This means the North Sea and the dike are very close by, and all tourist centers are easily accessible. The direct connection to beautiful cycling routes is particularly attractive. For example, you can cycle through the idyllic marshland to Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel.
Of course, you can also do this by car, so to speak, "from behind" and past the Esens summer traffic, but by bike you reach the sea and Bensersiel in complete peace and quiet, have already breathed in plenty of healthy sea air, and can enjoy the beach and the many tourist spa and holiday facilities in a very special way.

The neighboring state-recognized air spa resort of Werdum is 4 km away from the dike and the North Sea in a straight line as a green oasis in the midst of East Frisian expanses. Werdum is a small and cozy village that invites its guests in all seasons above all with peace and quiet, something off the beaten track of the tourist hustle and bustle of the seaports.
