The Haus Beluga with two cozy holiday apartments is located in a central location in the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel, almost directly at the harbor and only about 200 meters from the beach. Bensersiel is directly on the unique natural spectacle of the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
We offer you a beautiful East Frisian holiday in a family atmosphere, for example in our beautiful garden with a seating area and a covered terrace.
You can shop in the town center of Bensersiel in the immediate vicinity. Both the bakery is just around the corner as well as a supermarket, which you can find just a few houses further. Restaurants, cafes and other catering facilities can be found in abundance in the immediate vicinity.
The holiday apartments, named Backbord and Steuerbord, are comfortably furnished and equipped as well as pleasantly designed. The apartments are each 45 square meters in size and best suited for up to 4 people plus a toddler. There is a living room with integrated and fully equipped kitchenette (refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, 4-burner stove etc.), a bedroom (with changing table in apartment Backbord), a small children's room and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
From the Haus Beluga you can reach all the attractions Bensersiel has to offer within a few minutes on foot: the beach, the harbor, or the Nordseetherme Bensersiel, a modern heated fun and leisure pool. All spa facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna, and fitness center are also located there. The harbor (less than 50 meters) and the tourist beach facilities (200 meters) are also very close by.
There you will find the beach itself and the beach portal with Benni's Adventure Land, a beach facility for children under a roof and with an internet room for surfing on winter days.
The Kajedeich is located in the immediate vicinity of our house; so beautiful walks along the Benser Tief start right at your doorstep. From here you can start beautiful cycling tours inland through the meadows and fields of the marshland along small roads and paths adjacent to our house.
For your shopping, morning rolls or a nice meal or a delicious coffee or tea, there is a large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, and cozy maritime pubs available right in the middle of Bensersiel. For example, there is a consumer market, a bakery, as well as several charming shops and several catering establishments within walking distance at the covered shopping and restaurant arcade Deichpassage in the holiday center Nordseegartenpark.
For your holiday or cure, you are ideally provided for in Bensersiel.
Very close to Bensersiel is Esens, the good room of the Harlingerland. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. It is best to take a bicycle and ride through the marshland over the Hammerweg or the idyllic Kajedeich along the Benser Tief. Wonderful tours await you.
The great offer in Bensersiel is complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old knight's town with a historically grown town center. There are a lot of small and large events, museums, and other catering and shopping opportunities.
Your children can best visit the indoor play park Klabautermann in Esens and have a lot of fun there. The Klabautermann is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.
In general, our area is excellently suited for extensive walks, bike tours, and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your holiday at the North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the attractive climate of the North Sea.
There is also a lot on offer for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the Vital-Aktiv-Center; or take a beauty day and let yourself be pampered.
Cheap shopping opportunities, many events, and great catering offers of the area will round off your program.
With your children, you can best visit the petting zoo in Werdum. This special little zoo is very popular with the little visitors. You can also feed or pet and playfully learn about the diverse world of domestic and farm animals from all continents.
Bensersiel and Esens have a lot to offer for recreation, sports, and play, for example, beaches with playgrounds and beach chairs, the aforementioned swimming pools, but also tennis courts, surfing sections at the dike, a kite meadow there for flying kites, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities, Wadden Sea walking tours, and much more.
