The health resort Werdum is very close to the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel and equally close to the "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
Our farm is called "An der Schafweide" because our hobby is sheep farming and our sheep naturally "live" directly on the farm!
The two holiday apartments on the farm "An der Schafweide" are each approximately 60 square meters and are therefore very suitable for two to four people plus an additional small child. The holiday apartments are bright and friendly and equipped with everything you will need during your holiday. For example, the fully equipped kitchens have dishwashers and microwaves. Both apartments have a beautiful furnished terrace in the garden and a balcony.
The farm "An der Schafweide" is located on the edge of our old Warfendorf Werdum with the beautiful village square and a small country brewery. We are a very small village - not far away are also the "House of the Guest" and the Kneipp hydrotherapy center. And around the corner is the pet park, very popular with children, with many exotic pets to watch and even pet.
Since the health resort Werdum is not very large, the events here are quite quiet and peaceful - restful. However, there are also many events and offers for your holiday. You are simply in the middle of country life.

The state-recognized health resort Werdum on the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is 4 km away as a green oasis in the middle of East Frisian expanse. Werdum is a small and cozy village that invites its guests to all seasons, especially with peace and relaxation away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the ports.
There is everything you need: numerous events (more than 100 in summer alone), "House of the Guest", spa facilities, the "Rasender Kalle" miniature railway, guest bowling and cycling tours with barbecues, horse-drawn carriage rides, horseback riding for the disabled, gastronomy, coastal brewery and much more.
Werdum is an old grown Warf village, whose history goes back to around the year 1300, and there are historical and typical landscape architecture such as the chieftain's castle, the Dutch windmill from 1748, the St. Nicolai Church or an old-time blacksmith.
The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel - very close by, a five-minute drive - is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. The beautiful historic fishing port is still actively lived by many crab fishing boats today.

Neuharlingersiel is directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island Spiekeroog opposite on the mainland.
Also in the immediate vicinity is the North Sea spa Bensersiel. Bensersiel also has a lot to offer for sports, recreation and play, for example two swimming pools: the seawater outdoor pool with super slide and the bathing area "Nordseetherme Bensersiel". The "Nordseetherme Bensersiel" is a modern heated fun and leisure pool. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located in the "Nordseetherme Bensersiel".
There are also many offers for your health: health-promoting courses, fitness and gymnastics courses in the "Fitness-Center Nordseetherme"; or take a beauty day and let yourself be pampered.
Bensersiel is directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island Langeoog opposite on the mainland.
Also nearby is Esens, the good living room of the "Harlingerland". You can reach Esens by car, but even better by bike through the marshland. Here you can shop nicely on a nice stroll or go out to eat or take part in the large offer of various festivals and events. Your children are best to visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" and have lots of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.
The great offer in Werdum, Neuharlingersiel and Bensersiel is complemented in Esens by the over 475 years old knight's town with a historically grown town center. Here there are a lot of small and big events, museums and other gastronomy and wonderful shopping possibilities.
