The house with the vacation apartment "Sonnendeck" is located in the village center of the state-recognized health resort Werdum, a green oasis of tranquility by the North Sea. Here you will find the quiet and healthy recreation you expect from your North Sea vacation.
The health resort Werdum is located very close to the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel and equally close to the "Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park", since 2009 a "UNESCO World Heritage Site".
The vacation apartment "Sonnendeck" is approximately 60 square meters and optimally suitable for two to four people. The vacation apartment is bright and friendly designed and comfortably and modern-cozy equipped with everything you will need on your vacation. For example, there is a beautiful furnished south-facing balcony next to the living room.
The vacation apartment "Sonnendeck" is located almost in the village center of our old warf village Werdum, very close to the pet park Werdum, which is particularly popular with children, with many exotic pets to observe and even to pet. Here you will find the beautiful village square with the adjacent small country brewery and not far away you will pass the "House of the Guest" and the Kneipp treatment center.
Since the health resort Werdum is not very large, the happenings here are quite quiet and leisurely - just relaxing. However, there are also plenty of events and offers for your vacation. You are simply in the middle of country life.

The state-recognized health resort Werdum at the North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is 4 km away in a straight line from the dike and the North Sea, as a green oasis in the middle of East Frisian expanse. Werdum is a small and cozy village that invites its guests to all seasons, especially with tranquility and recreation away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts.
There is everything you need: a lot of events (more than 100 in summer alone), "House of the Guest", spa facilities, the "Rasender Kalle" miniature train, guest bowling and bike tours with barbecues, stagecoach rides, horseback riding for the disabled, gastronomy, coastal brewery and much more.
Werdum is an old grown warf cluster village, whose history dates back to around the year 1300, and there are historical and landscape-typical architecture such as the chieftain's castle, the earthen Dutch windmill from 1748, the St. Nicolai Church or a blacksmith from old times.
The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel - just nearby, maybe five minutes by car - is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. The East Frisian fishery is still actively lived by many crab fishing boats in the beautiful historic fishing harbor.

Bensersiel also has a lot to offer for sport, recreation and play, for example two swimming pools: the seawater outdoor pool with super slide and the bathing area "North Sea Therme Bensersiel". The "North Sea Therme Bensersiel" is a modern heated fun and leisure pool. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located in the "North Sea Therme Bensersiel".

Your children should visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" and have a lot of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.
