Our beautiful house - built in 2001 - with its two modern, comfortable, and technically up-to-date apartments is located in Altharlingersiel, near the dike and almost exactly between the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel and the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel. Our house is located very quietly and with a great open view of the East Frisian meadows, fields and pastures. Enjoy the view from your balcony or from the large garden with a sunbathing lawn and play equipment for the children.
Altharlingersiel belongs to the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel. Neuharlingersiel is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active crab fishing fleet. The East Frisian fishing industry is still actively practiced today in the beautiful historic fishing harbor.
For your vacation, there is a rich tourist offer: the beach with a great water play area "Platschi", the new modern SPA and wellness facility "BadeWerk" with an indoor saltwater pool and sauna, as well as a spa house, auditorium, information center with a children's playhouse "Leuchttürmchen", Sielhof as "House of the Guest", green areas, events, a lovingly maintained historic harbor and many more offers.
Neuharlingersiel is located directly in the middle of the East Frisian North Sea coast of the island of Spiekeroog opposite on the mainland.
In the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel, about three and a half kilometers east of Altharlingersiel, there is an extensive vacation offer for children and parents. First, there is the old harbor in Carolinensiel. This old harbor now houses a museum harbor with historic Frisian flat-bottomed sailboats. When walking or from one of the beautiful restaurants, watch the colorful activity around the harbor!
You can enjoy the view of the old ships, the harbor promenade with its cafes, tea rooms, and restaurants, as well as the paddle steamer "Concordia II", a replica of the old "Concordia I" from 1854. This paddle steamer takes you on the deep in a shuttle service from the museum harbor past the House of the Guest through the Friedrichsschleuse to the marina in Harlesiel to the North Sea.
Furthermore, there is the "House of the Guest" with a comprehensive entertainment and relaxation offer. For example, parents can read in peace while their children are taken care of by experienced professionals. The whole family naturally likes to go to the beautiful beach, but you can also go swimming in the brine leisure pool "Cliner Quelle" (splash pool, sauna, solariums, beauty and wellness department and once a week the popular "Moonlight Swimming"). Or in summer, you can visit the heated seawater outdoor pool in Harlesiel. For children and young teenagers and actually for the whole family, there is the "Happy Family Club" with programs and many ideas. On vacation in Carolinensiel, there is always something to do for sports and games, for entertainment and relaxation.
A special tip is always a day trip to one of the East Frisian islands, best from us to Wangerooge from Harlesiel with its beautiful lighthouse. Or you can simply start from the Carolinensiel-Harlesiel airfield for a round flight over the dikes, the North Sea, and the islands: an unforgettable experience awaits you!
