The family-friendly Ferienhof Peters with three holiday apartments is located on
the edge of the village of Utgast, in close proximity to the North Sea
spa town of Esens-Bensersiel on the East Frisian North Sea coast, directly
adjacent to the unique natural spectacle of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea
National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2009. Here on our
former farm, you will find wonderful conditions for a beautiful North Sea
holiday in East Frisia.
The farm is located on a side road - there is no through traffic - everything
is quiet and completely secluded. The newly asphalted access road to our
holiday farm is perfect for small and large inline skaters.
The three holiday apartments on our property are spacious, bright and
rustic-friendly designed as well as very comfortably furnished and equipped.
The holiday apartments are approximately 65, 60 and 40 square meters in size
and equipped with two or one bedroom for two to six persons plus an additional
toddler as well as for two to three persons plus an additional toddler.
All three apartments, for example, have their own terrace.
On our former farm live the two ponies Vico and Ole as well as rabbits and
of course cats.
Enjoy an Ostfriesen tea in the garden or on your terrace while your children
play freely on the secluded large farm grounds: with the three large go-carts,
the Kett-Car, on the trampoline, on the swings, on the monkey swing, on
the horizontal bar, in the sandbox or basketball, table soccer, and table
tennis in the barn.
Our Ferienhof Peters is located in the southwest of Bensersiel and on the
outer northwestern edge of the old knight town of Esens in the North Sea
spa town of Esens-Bensersiel in the very rural, widely scattered village
community of Holtgast-Utgast. So you can reach the town center of Esens
in less than 10 minutes by bike or in the other direction to Bensersiel
to the beach. By car, which you will probably leave standing, you are in
about five minutes in Bensersiel.
But you drive to Bensersiel much better, for example, by bike across the
idyllic marsh along the Benser Tief (What is a Tief? Want to know more?
Click here on this sentence!). So you reach the beach comfortably and
relaxed. Or you start here for your bike tour or hike into the East Frisian
hinterland or over Bensersiel and then along the dike to Ostbense and to the
North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel.
We would be happy to tell you about all the interesting destinations in the
very nearby, over 475 years old, cozy and charming bear town of Esens with
its historically grown town center and of course the highlights of the North
Sea spa town of Bensersiel. For example, there are also lots of small and
large events and museums. Or you can simply have some peace and quiet at
our house.
Of course, you can also reach Bensersiel and Esens in a few minutes (and
especially completely away from normal traffic) by car, but by bike you
reach the North Sea in about 2 kilometers in complete relaxed peace, have
already sniffed a lot of healthy salt air and can particularly enjoy the
beach and the many touristic spa and vacation facilities.
Our location is ideal for long walks, bike tours, and discovery trips into
the unique nature of East Frisia. So you experience your holiday at the
North Sea actively and relaxed and benefit optimally from the appeal of the
North Sea climate.
By car, you can reach Bensersiel in just under 5 minutes or the North Sea
spa town of Neuharlingersiel in about 10 minutes.
The North Sea spa town of Esens-Bensersiel has a lot to offer for relaxation,
sports, and play, for example, beaches with playgrounds and deck chairs,
swimming pools, tennis courts, surf sections on the dike, fitness offers,
beach volleyball, fishing opportunities, and much more.
Let the sun shine on your belly here on our idyllic farm or explore the
beautiful surroundings and the vastness of East Frisia by bike. Visit the
bathing landscape Nordseetherme Bensersiel, a modern heated fun and leisure
pool. The therapy center (e.g. with all spa facilities) as well as a modern
wellness, sauna, and fitness center are also located there. Or you drive to
the beach with the new beach portal with Benni's Adventureland - a beach
area for children under a roof - as well as with the maritime sports theme
park, the seawater outdoor pool with a giant water slide. Hike along the
dike or in the Wadden Sea.
Take day trips to the East Frisian islands and visit numerous old mills,
museums, exhibitions, and other cultural highlights. Or take your children
to Werdum to the petting zoo with many small animals from all over the world.
Or drive to Neuharlingersiel. There, in addition to other attractions of this
North Sea spa town, the historical fishing port with an active crab cutter
fleet and Platschi, the great water play facility right on the beach.
