The two neighboring houses with the holiday apartments "Winter" are located in a prime residential area within walking distance of the city center of the beautiful old knight town Esens. The transport connections by bus, car or bicycle to the very nearby North Sea spa town Bensersiel and the nearby North Sea spa town Neuharlingersiel are excellent. You stay on the northeastern edge of the city center of Esens.

The North Sea spa town Bensersiel and the beach are only four kilometers away and are located directly on the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

It is only a short walk from your holiday apartment to the pedestrian zone, the "Steinstraße", and to the market square of the Bear Town Esens. There you will find beautiful shops for a leisurely shopping stroll and for browsing and marveling. There is a diverse gastronomy with cafes and restaurants, inside and outside.

We would be happy to tell you all the amenities of our over 475 years old, cozy and charming town with its historically grown city center and of course the "highlights" of the North Sea spa town Bensersiel. For example, there are also a lot of small and large events and museums. Or you can simply have a real break in your beautiful holiday apartment.

For example, ride north on a bicycle through the idyllic East Frisian marsh and optionally also along the "Benser Tief" to Bensersiel. This way you can reach the beach comfortably and relaxed.

Of course, this is also possible in a few minutes by car, but by bike you reach the sea and Bensersiel after about 4 kilometers in complete relaxed tranquility, have already breathed in a lot of healthy sea air and can particularly enjoy the beach and the many touristic spa and vacation facilities.

Our location is excellently suited for long walks, bicycle tours and discovery trips into the unique nature of East Frisia. This way you experience your vacation on the North Sea actively and relaxed and profit optimally from the charm of the North Sea.

By car you can reach Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel in 5 to 10 minutes. You can also easily reach both seaside towns or North Sea spas by bus.

By bicycle you can reach the sea in 4 to 6 kilometers in relaxed tranquility, depending on your chosen cycling route, have already breathed in a lot of healthy sea air and can particularly enjoy the beach and the many touristic spa and vacation facilities.

Visit Bensersiel's bathing landscape "Nordseetherme", a modern heated fun and leisure pool. All spa facilities as well as a modern wellness, sauna and fitness center are also located there. Or you drive to the beach with the new beach portal with "Bennis Abenteuerland" - a beach facility for children under a roof - as well as with the maritime sports theme park and with the seawater outdoor pool with a giant water slide. Hike along the dike or in the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

Take day trips to the East Frisian islands and visit numerous old mills, museums, exhibitions and other cultural highlights. Or drive with your children to Werdum to the petting zoo with many small animals from all parts of the world. Or drive to Neuharlingersiel.
